The role requires domain and business process expertise to detail product requirements as epics and user stories, along with supporting artifacts like business process maps, use cases, and test plans, this person will be involved in evaluating business requirements as fit and gaps, convert the fits and gaps into tangible user requirements, work with stakeholders on gating approvals, define acceptance criteria, and assist in developing a robust solution working in product team. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills and a technical background in the end-to-end software development lifecycle. The candidate should be a self-starter and have a strong passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Roles & Responsibilities:Work with Data & Analytics Product team and customers to define scope and value for new developments and translating into clear fit gat analysisWrite actionable user requirements and define user acceptance strategies for configurations, design and implementation in analytical systemsWork with business stake holders for Gating approvals, conduct roadshows, evaluation of requirements as fit & gap analysisCollaborating with System Architects and Product Managers to manage business analysis activities, ensuring alignment with analytics functionsCapture the voice of the customer to define business processes and product needsDevelop and execute effective product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholdersMaintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changes in solution documentation, workflows, and system configurations to ensure comprehensive understanding and facilitate knowledge transferCollaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US and other international locationsBe a part of an Agile project team utilizing the Agile / Scrum methodologies, working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, closely partnering with business stakeholdersPartner with Scrum Master, Product Owner and the team in defining Technical User Stories, Partners with Product Owner to identify and prioritize enabler workBasic Qualifications and Experience:Master’s degree and 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field ORBachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field ORDiploma and 5 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field ORFunctional Skills:Must-Have Skills:Strong understanding of business analysis fundamentals, user story writing, and backlog grooming.Exposure to data pipelines, reporting logic, and metric definitions, ideally in a supply chain or operational context.Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile collaboration platforms.Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work across both business and technical teams.Knowledge of sprint-based planning and estimations required for implementationAgile and SAFe practicesGood-to-Have Skills:Health Cloud and Lifesciences Cloud hands on experienceWorking knowledge of integrations suite using API’s or 3rd party integration software like Talend, MuleSoft, Data Lake and Data Fabrics etcExtensive experience in software development lifecycleBroad working knowledge of key IS domains and layersUnderstanding of FDA regulations governing computer system validation and operationProfessional Certifications:Business Analyst Professional (optional)Soft Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.
