In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), solution across all the Amgen manufacturing sites. This role focuses on leveraging SAP S/4HANA technologies to streamline and enhance Planning & Scheduling processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. As an Sr Associate SAP Architect , you will work closely with operations IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA MRP and PP/DS with a solid understanding of SAP PP-PI, QM, SD and MM modules.Solution design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, MRP and PP/DS solutions across all Amgen manufacturing sitesManage SAP S/4 data integrations with external planning systems for supply and demand planningConduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategiesCreate and maintain critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.Utilize Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.Basic Qualifications and Experience.Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modulesFunctional Skills : Must Have Skills.Strong hands-on experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA PP/DS with in-depth Knowledge of Advance Planning and Scheduling in S4 HANA, Demand Planning (DP), Supplier network collaboration (SNC) and Supply Network Planning (SNC) and CIF interfaceConfiguration experience in PP/DS alert profile, work area, propagation range, safety profile, Campaign Planning, Setup matrix, Optimization & Tank Planning.Experience in defining DS planning board profile, Firming, Pegging, Setup times, Campaign Planning, Product view, Product planning table, Detailed scheduling planning and PP/DS optimizerExperience with make-to-stock, make-to-order and planning with final assembly scenarios.Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.Nice-to-Have SkillsKnowledge of SAP IBP, Advance ATP and Supplier collaboration with Ariba SCCFamiliarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.Professional Certifications.Production planning with SAP S/4HANA PP/DSAgile Certified Practitioner (preferred)Soft Skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.Shift Information:This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second shift schedule.
