This role facilitates agile ceremonies, helps remove impediments, tracks action items and deliverables, and supports cross-functional coordination to keep work moving smoothly. The position works closely with engineering, product, and business partners to improve team visibility, communication, and execution. The ideal candidate has strong facilitation, organization, and communication skills, with experience supporting agile teams and driving continuous improvement.Roles & Responsibilities:Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesCoach the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvementRemove or help resolve impediments that impact team deliveryCoordinate priorities, dependencies, and communications across engineering, product, and business stakeholdersTrack sprint progress, delivery metrics, risks, issues, and action items using Agile management toolsPartner with Product Owners to support backlog refinement and sprint readiness.Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing team environmentSupport organizational initiatives to improve team effectiveness, delivery predictability, and operational excellenceDevelop dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide visibility into team performance and deliverySupport adoption of automation and AI-assisted workflows that improve team productivity and operational efficiencyBasic Qualifications and Experience:Any degree with 5–9 years of experience supporting Agile delivery, Scrum, project coordination, organizational effectiveness, or a related fieldFunctional Skills:Must-Have Skills:Experience serving as Scrum Master for Agile software delivery teamsStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologiesExperience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile toolsAbility to facilitate meetings and drive cross-functional collaborationExperience tracking risks, dependencies, and delivery metricsStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to coach teams toward continuous improvementGood-to-Have Skills:Experience supporting cybersecurity or infrastructure teamsExperience with Agile reporting and dashboardsExperience with AI-assisted productivity tools and workflow automationFamiliarity with SAFe or scaled Agile environmentsExperience supporting globally distributed teamsProfessional Certifications:Required (one of the following):SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)Preferred:PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Soft Skills:Strong English verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teamsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationAbility to manage multiple priorities successfullyTeam oriented, with a focus on achieving team goalsStrong presentation and public speaking skillsExcellent facilitation and conflict resolution skillsStrong stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence without direct authorityEQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENTAmgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider you without regard to your race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status..
