CCE Governance - Strategic Planning & Operations Manager Let’s do this. Let’s change the world.In this vital role, you will support the Customer Care & Experience (CCE) Governance team. The CCE team focuses on advancing capabilities that enhance the experience of Amgen’s internal workforce by driving adoption and maximizing business value of deployed End User Technologies. These include collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, SharePoint, and workplace devices including PCs, mobile phones, tablets, and printers.As the CCE Governance-Strategic Planning & Operations Manager , you will serve as a key governance partner supporting financial oversight, portfolio execution, vendor and contract management, software license governance, and operational performance reporting. You will work closely with FP&A, Procurement, service owners, system owners, cross-functional leadership and global stakeholders across time zones to ensure accurate financial planning, seamless renewals, and strong vendor governance.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Portfolio GovernanceIndependently manage Opex and portfolio financials, including budgeting, forecasting, quarterly Latest Estimates (LEs), and accrualsOwn end-to-end financial forecasting and variance analysis across the CCE portfolioProvide financial insights to support decision-making, cost optimization, and investment prioritizationPartner with FP&A to ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and alignment with enterprise processesSupport and manage Amgen India financials, ensuring alignment with global financial governance and reporting standardsDrive financial transparency across services & regions, including cost allocations2. Software Contract Lifecycle & Renewals ManagementOwn and manage end-to-end software contract lifecycle including renewals, extensions, change requests, and closuresLead software renewal planning and execution, including cost estimation, stakeholder alignment, and budget readinessPartner with stakeholders to optimize renewal scope, eliminating unused or redundant licensesSupport and coordinate vendor negotiations and approval workflows for renewalsEnsure all renewals align with financial plans and governance policiesLeverage strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise agreements and contract structures (e.g., M365, E3/E5, Azure, true-ups) to drive optimized renewals, cost efficiency, and compliance3. Financial Operations & Procurement ExecutionOversee and support Purchase Order (PO) creation and approvals in Ariba, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPerform billing validation and invoice reconciliation against contracts and entitlementsCoordinate with FP&A and procurement teams to ensure correct financial processing and complianceManage financial transactions including true-ups, prorated calculations, and invoice validationsEnsure adherence to enterprise financial and procurement policies4. Software License Governance & ComplianceMaintain license compliance by reconciling purchased vs. allocated licensesManage true-ups (monthly/quarterly/annual) and validate license usage accuracyEnsure governance for non-standard software approvals (e.g., Visio, Project, Adobe Pro)Identify opportunities to optimize license utilization and reduce costsTrack and report license usage trends and financial impact5. Vendor Performance & Contract GovernanceOversee vendor performance against SLA/KPI commitments and drive corrective actions where neededTroubleshoot contract and vendor-related issues including billing discrepancies and compliance gapsMaintain contract inventory and ensure timely actions on renewals, expirations, and risksProvide data-driven insights to support vendor governance and performance improvement6.
