This is an exciting time for the Limerick Fab as we expand wafer fab capacity by 2X and increase output by 3X by 2026.The role will initially involve working rotating day and night shifts.This shift-based experience will give the graduate first-hand exposure to semiconductor manufacturing and help build the essential skills required for a Process Engineer role.The role is a 36 month training program based in the Fab but there will be opportunity to move to a a permanent role during this timeframe or at the end of the training program where a suitable role is available.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support day-to-day fab operations by working with on-shift Process Technicians to ensure smooth and efficient production.Release production holds, identify and reduce operational bottlenecks, and support timely resolution.Help qualify new tools to support ramp requirements.Assist with transferring processes from sister sites to Limerick.Contribute to continuous improvement projects that improve yield and output across the fab.Support cycle-time reduction projects.Support sustainability projects focused on reducing water use, greenhouse gases, and PFC chemicals across the fab.Development of new ProcessesImplementation of AI to improve the process and streamline operationsMinimum qualificationsMSc in Applied Physics, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or another relevant Science or Engineering discipline.Enthusiastic self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.Strong team player.Hands on approach with a string Engineering mindset.Preferred qualificationsGood knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing preferred but not a requirementData Analytics skills would be an advantageFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
