The Functional Architect for Order Promiser (OP) and Enterprise Supply Planner (ESP) is a critical leadership role within Central Planning, responsible for shaping and advancing ADI’s next-generation supply chain planning capabilities.This role partners across Planning, Manufacturing, IT, and Commercial teams to transform current-state processes into scalable, data-driven future-state solutions. You will lead the functional design and implementation of advanced planning systems, ensuring alignment between business strategy and system capabilities while driving measurable improvements in service, inventory, and operational efficiency.This is a high-impact role at the intersection of business transformation and system innovation, with direct influence on enterprise-wide planning outcomes.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Transformation & Value DeliveryLead enterprise initiatives to improve key supply chain KPIs, including:On-Time Delivery (CRD/FCD)Forecast AccuracyInventory OptimizationCapacity UtilizationDrive standardization and scalability of planning processes across business units and regions.2. Functional Architecture LeadershipServe as the functional architect for advanced planning capabilities, including:Order Promiser (OP)Enterprise Supply Planner (ESP)Factory Planning, Order-to-Cash, and VMI/VMR processesOwn the end-to-end functional design, ensuring alignment across planning layers and execution systems.3. Process Design & System LogicDefine and document complex planning logic, including:Prioritization and allocation strategiesPegging hierarchies and rulesCapacity modeling across front-end and back-endWafer start and release strategiesTranslate business requirements into scalable system configurations and design specifications.4. Cross-Functional IntegrationPartner with IT and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across:SAP S/4MESPlanning platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder)Ensure strong alignment between planning outputs and execution realities.5. Change Management & AdoptionLead end-to-end change management, including:Deployment strategyStakeholder alignmentTraining and adoptionPost-implementation performance trackingDrive sustained behavioral and process change across global teams.6. Analytics, Reporting & Continuous ImprovementDefine and implement reporting frameworks to monitor planning effectiveness.Leverage data and analytics to identify gaps and continuously improve system performance and decision-making.7. Talent Development & LeadershipMentor and develop supply chain analysts and functional leads.Build organizational capability in advanced planning systems and supply chain analytics.8. Quality & GovernanceLead functional validation, design reviews, and testing oversight to ensure solution integrity and performance.Establish governance around planning logic, data quality, and process adherence.QualificationsFunctional ExpertiseDeep expertise in semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing processes.Proven track record leading large-scale planning system transformations.Strong experience defining end-to-end planning processes and functional specifications.Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable improvements in supply chain performance.Technical & Systems ExpertiseStrong understanding of planning system architecture and integration with execution systems.Hands-on experience with advanced planning platforms, preferably:Blue Yonder (ESP, OP, FP, DP, IO) or equivalentAbility to translate complex business requirements into system design and technical specifications.Leadership & InfluenceStrong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Proven ability to drive alignment across cross-functional and global teams.Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.Analytical, structured problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.Experience:10+ years in supply chain, planning systems, or transformation rolesExperience in semiconductor or complex manufacturing environments strongly preferredFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
