Job Description SummaryAnalog Devices is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join the Central Industrial Engineering team. This role will lead high-impact initiatives focused on capacity modeling, factory scheduling, cycle time reduction, operations research, and productivity improvement across ADI's front-end manufacturing network. The successful candidate will drive development of cross-site analytical models, optimization tools, and data-driven decision systems that maximize factory output, support expansion planning, and establish standardized Industrial Engineering practices across multiple manufacturing sites.ResponsibilitiesLead development of cross-site capacity models, utilization analyses, loading scenarios, and expansion planning studies.Drive cycle time reduction and WIP optimization initiatives through Factory Physics methodologies, bottleneck analysis, and constraint management.Develop and maintain advanced analytical tools supporting factory scheduling, output optimization, and operational decision making.Perform operations research and statistical analyses to identify key output levers and productivity improvement opportunities.Design and implement predictive models, optimization algorithms, and AI-enabled analytical solutions for manufacturing applications.Lead validation and continuous improvement of scheduling logic, factory planning assumptions, and manufacturing data structures.Establish standard methodologies, governance processes, and best practices across multiple manufacturing sites.Mentor junior Industrial Engineers and provide technical leadership on analytical projects.Partner with site leadership, operations teams, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and IT to drive strategic improvement initiatives.Present recommendations, scenario analyses, and business cases to management and senior leadership.Support development of long-range capacity plans and fab expansion scenarios.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related engineering discipline.Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and statistical analysis tools.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.Semiconductor wafer fabrication experience.Experience with Factory Physics, cycle time engineering, capacity planning, production scheduling, or manufacturing optimization.Experience with simulation, optimization modeling, machine learning, or operations research techniques.Work Experience3–5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other complex manufacturing environments.Experience building capacity models, productivity analyses, factory scheduling models, or optimization tools.Demonstrated success leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.Strong analytical, communication, and project leadership skills.Experience working with globally distributed teams is preferred.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
