Senior Financial AnalystAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Business Unit (BU) Finance team for the Aerospace, Defense, & Communications (ADC) Vertical. In this role, you’ll be a trusted finance partner responsible for managing operating expenses (OpEx), capital expenses (CapEx), headcount planning, and financial reporting activities. In coordination with ADC Controllers, you’ll serve as the link between business leaders and the central FP&A organization. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and leadership to support strategic decision-making through accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and financial rigor. This role reports into the Director of BU FP&A but aligns with the Vertical and its Controllers. Key ResponsibilitiesSupportSupport the Controllers & Division Finance Business Partners on a daily basisProvide financial guidance to senior management and collaborate with the business team to drive efficient business processes, strong operational results, and organizational growthOpEx & CapEx Planning & ForecastingLead the detailed planning and forecasting of OpEx and CapExProvide in-quarter forecasts to monitor performance against plan and identify potential risks or opportunitiesParticipate in the development of long-term strategic plans, budgeting processes and short-term financial forecastingHeadcount & Compensation PlanningPartner with HR and business leaders on headcount forecasting, hiring plans, and salary trackingMonitor hiring trends and ensure alignment with financial plansFinancial Reporting & CloseSupport the monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of OpEx summaries and variance analysesDeliver clear and actionable reporting packages to finance and business leadership.Ad Hoc AnalysisConduct in-depth financial analysis, including growth trends, cost drivers, and SAP drill-downs to support business decisionsPerform scenario modeling and deep dives as needed to address emerging business needsSpend GovernanceReview & approve purchases, verifying alignment with planned budgets and forecastEnsure compliance with internal financial policies and provide guidance on budget availabilityQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus)2+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in corporate or business unit FP&AStrong understanding of OpEx planning, forecasting, and variance analysisHands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other large ERP systemsAdvanced Excel and data modeling skills; experience with financial planning tools a plus (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion)Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise mannerStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently while collaborating closely with both finance and business teamsFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Required Qualifications
