Role SummaryThe Cloud Network Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the enterprise cloud network architecture across multi-cloud environments. This role requires strong expertise in at least two of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deep knowledge of hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.The individual will lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions and collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and on-prem network teams to ensure optimal connectivity and alignment with enterprise standards.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & StrategyDefine and maintain the enterprise cloud network architecture roadmapDesign scalable and secure Cloud WAN, VPC/VNet topologies, segmentation, and routing strategiesEstablish network design standards, patterns, and governance modelsMulti-Cloud & Hybrid ConnectivityDesign and implement multi-cloud networking strategies and interconnectivityArchitect hybrid solutions integrating on-premises data centers with cloud environmentsLead implementation of VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and equivalent solutionsDeploy Cloud Network services through automationNetwork SecurityDefine and enforce network security standards including segmentation, firewall policies, and traffic inspectionImplement security controls such as Security Groups, NSGs, and cloud-native firewallsPartner with cybersecurity teams on compliance and governance requirementsPerformance & OptimizationOptimize network performance, latency, and throughput across cloud environmentsDesign for high availability, failover, and disaster recoveryIdentify opportunities for cost and performance optimizationCollaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with on-prem network teams to optimize connectivity and routingWork with cloud platforms, applications and security teams to align architecture with business needsProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in networking, with at least 5+ years in cloud networkingStrong hands-on expertise in at least two cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCPProven experience designing multi-cloud and hybrid network architecturesStrong knowledge of:IP addressing, CIDR, subnettingRouting protocols and traffic managementDNS, load balancing, and network servicesNetwork security and segmentation principlesPreferred QualificationsExperience in enterprise cloud transformation programsExpertise in:AWS Transit Gateway, Azure Virtual WAN, GCP networking constructsInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Network monitoring and observability toolsIndustry certifications (preferred):AWS Advanced Networking SpecialtyAzure Network Engineer AssociateGoogle Professional Cloud Network EngineerKey CompetenciesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence and drive architecture decisions across teamsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to work in a global, cross-functional environmentTravel RequirementsMinimal / As requiredImpact & ScopeDrives enterprise-wide cloud network strategy and standardsEnables secure, scalable, and optimized connectivity across cloud platformsPlays a key role in multi-cloud architecture, hybrid connectivity, and cloud transformation initiativesAdditional Information Experience working with hybrid cloud DNS and IP managementExposure to automation, DevOps, and platform engineering modelsFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.   • Proven experience designing multi-cloud and hybrid network architectures (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of:IP addressing, CIDR, subnettingRouting protocols and traffic managementDNS, load balancing, and network servicesNetwork security and segmentation principles (experience)
