TEAM OVERVIEWApplied Materials' Global Services organization is seeking a highly motivated Technical Program Manager to join the Knowledge Management (KM) team. The KM team delivers relevant, timely service knowledge to field engineers at the point of service and develops scalable solutions, tools, and processes for knowledge distribution, content management, and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Apply SQL and Python programming to cleanse, integrate, and analyze large datasetsDevelop automated data-processing workflows and AI/ML-enabled solutions using Python and Generative AI technologiesAssist the knowledge management team to analyze and optimize publishing libraries content, document meta-data management activitiesMonitor, analyze, and report KM KPIs and operational performance metricsCollaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver KM-related projects and solutionsSupport KM Executives on strategic projects tracking and testing TECHNICAL SKILLS:Proficient in SQL coding, Python librariesExperience with Generative AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Claude, or equivalent AI toolsExperience with prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflow automation, and evaluation of AI-generated outputsProject management and cross-functional collaboration skillsProficient with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Share Point/ TeamsExcellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAble to work effectively in a matrix environment and influence stakeholdersQuick learnerStrong attention to details REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related fieldGPA of 3.0 or aboveDemonstrated data analytics and problem-solving skillsInterest in applying AI technologies to technical documentation, translation workflows, knowledge capture, content governance, and knowledge management processesAdded advantage: ability to speak and write fluently or native speaker in one or more of these languages: Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese in addition to EnglishAdditional InformationTime Type:Full timeEmployee Type:New College GradTravel:Yes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field (degree in in computer science)
  • GPA of 3.0 or above (experience)
  • Demonstrated data analytics and problem-solving skills (experience)
  • Interest in applying AI technologies to technical documentation, translation workflows, knowledge capture, content governance, and knowledge management processes (experience)
  • Added advantage: ability to speak and write fluently or native speaker in one or more of these languages: Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese in addition to English (experience)

Responsibilities
