Learning Operations Manager – HR Shared Services (India)We are hiring a Learning Operations Manager to join our HR Shared Services team in India. This role is a mix of operations leadership, team management, and partnership with our Talent Development (TD) function. You will be responsible for ensuring that learning programs run effectively at scale, while also strengthening how we plan, govern, and continuously improve learning operations.Talent Development at Applied is on a transformation journey to deliver impactful and scalable learning experiences that help build critical capabilities across the organization. The Learning Operations team will play a central role in enabling this vision through consistent, high-quality execution and data-driven governance.About the RoleWhile you will oversee day-to-day delivery, your primary focus will be on building a structured, scalable operating model and leading a team that can deliver consistently in a fast-paced environment.You will work closely with the TD COE, acting as a reliable operations partner, and play a key role in bringing more predictability, stronger governance, and better use of data into how learning programs are delivered.The role is part of the India HR Shared Services organization and a member of the India HRSS leadership team, providing an opportunity to contribute not just to learning operations, but to the broader shared services transformation journey.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end learning operations across regions, ensuring consistent and high-quality executionPartner closely with the Talent Development team to translate learning plans into structured and executable delivery plansBring discipline and predictability to planning, scheduling, and delivery in a high-volume environmentUse data and reporting to generate insights that support program governance and decision-makingManage multi-country delivery, balancing global consistency with local execution realitiesOwn LMS operations including course setup, learning paths, and issue resolutionManage vendors and ensure quality delivery aligned to expectationsOversee financial processes including purchase orders and invoicingLead and develop a team – set clear expectations, delegate effectively, and build capability beyond transactional executionCoach the team to become more proactive, stakeholder-aware, and solution-orientedDrive improvements in processes, tools, and ways of working as part of the overall transformation journeySkills & ExperienceExperience in learning operations, program management, or shared services environmentsProven experience in managing and developing teamsAbility to operate at both execution and strategic levelsStrong stakeholder management skills, especially in working with COEs and cross-functional partnersComfort working with data and using insights to guide decisionsFamiliarity with LMS platforms and learning delivery modelsAbility to handle high-volume, fast-paced environmentsStrong problem-solving and prioritization skillsExperience working across regions or in multi-country environments is preferred10–15 years of relevant experienceWhy Join UsThis role offers the opportunity to lead a team, partner closely with Talent Development, and help shape how learning operations evolve within HR Shared Services.
