Key Responsibilities1. Local expert of EDX(Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy) Algorithm engineering and support group for Algorithm matters at customer site 2. Algorithm Support at Customer SiteApplication support for algorithm-induced challenges, such as measurement error, data reliability, correlation, and matching issues, etc. at customer siteProviding the solution on algo issues – Diagnostics(R/C) and troubleshootingGuiding new implemented algo feature and providing training for account AppsAlgo & utility bug fixing – Support for worldwide reported bug fixing as a member of algo developerCommunicate issues and feedback to PDC Algo group and get inputs for troubleshooting at customer siteDemonstrate excellent communication skills to improve customer satisfaction3. Algorithm Engineering & DevelopmentWorking cooperation with algorithm development group in PDC & AMINDAlgorithm integration in large systems considering HW and SW aspectsEngage in customer facing activities to aid algorithms' proliferation at customer sitesExtending tool performance with the clear gap mapping and performance analysis for improving data reliability & measurement success, EoU, TTR, etc.Provide software specifications and production code on time to meet project milestonesClose work with the applications, system, physics, software, and qualification groups in order to understand the customers’ requirements and system constraintsParticipating in communication chain with customer to clear understand VoC and challenges from a technical perspective to develop in the right directionPerforming C&F for CIP and preliminary research for new feature in next generation algo development, and beta testing in customer siteRequirements:Master’s degree and aboveStrong theoretical foundation and > 3year proven hands-on experience in Physics and Spectrum Data AnalysisThorough understanding of probability, statistics and Signal Processing AlgorithmStrong skills in developing in MATLAB and PythonAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamFluent English – verbal and textTeam player with excellent communication and collaboration skillsTravel – capable for initial 1-2 months travel and later willingness to travel up to 15%Advantage:a. Theoretical and hands-on experience in EDX, Data Analysis and simulationb. Theoretical and hands-on experience in Machine Learningc. Understanding of imaging systems and physicsd.
