We are looking for experienced, smart, sharp, hardworking industrial engineering graduates who loves to work in high tempo and looking for a meaningful experience in material planning in high complexity & challenging business environment.The material planner is responsible for material planning and management to PDC manufacturing lines while focusing on Inventory performance, E&Z reduction, suppliers’ crises management in the line, material FGI and LLI management, Safety stock definition and fulfilment, ensure high quality performance and plan supply chain proactive solutions due to risks & low business validityJob description: Support material aspects of pre-mature (NPI) products operationsNPI BOM structure and supply chainOn time material delivery to first tools at production floorFocus the material organization on top issues and risksProvide material shortages overview and mitigation plans to managementPlan & control financial aspects – new products build plan budget and refundsClose work with multiple interfaces in all departmentsMaterial Infrastructures readiness for serial productionSet optimal material infrastructures: MRP BOM, Safety Stock, Responsiveness, RM Inventory and E&Z levels, suppliers’ quality, obsoletes plansSmooth transition from old to new products with minimum material impactObsolete Management Provide Obsoletes solutions planning & control services ​to PDC Operations and R&DEnsure zero production stoppers caused by obsoletesLead obsolete related task forces Manage the line Inventory in order to meet organizational performance targets- including the line safety stock, E&Z recovery plans and long-term reduction plansManage the line exposure in front of our suppliers according to Operational KPI’sMange effectively the engineering changes (ECO’s) in the line – be cost effectives and proof ROIDefine and follow the material responsiveness to our production floor – meet and continually improve the organizational KPI’sSupport execution of the sourcing strategy to meet the company's business growth and sourcing requirementsUnder direct supervision, monitor and report supplier performanceUnder direct supervision, work with purchasing, sourcing, quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure 100% on-time deliveryManaging decision making situations while considering multiple supply chain management factorsWork with SAP, Smartsheet and other internal organizational information systemsJob requirements: B.S.C in industrial engineering from a leading and recognized university3 years of experience in operational & planning rolesAbility to gain cooperation of others, cooperate and lead complex interfaces with no authorityAbility to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks in parallel and manage timelines & due dates independentlyVery good analytical skills, sharp & fast thinkerHigh interpersonal skills, ability to lead and cooperate with complex interfacesGood verbal skills, ability to present and communicate key messages to an audienceAbility to manage long term tasks in addition to the daily executionExcellent English – speaking and writingAdditional InformationTime Type:Full timeEmployee Type:Assignee / RegularTravel:Yes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:NoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
