Role Responsibilities: Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on difficult process engineering experimentsPerform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systemsTroubleshoot complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issuesMeasure film properties and interpret dataGenerate internal documentation for products, presentations, and technical reportsCommunicate and engage with customers to resolve complex process engineering issues or concerns, under limited supervisionIdentify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliersImplement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentationServe as a resource for junior colleagues; lead project teams, as neededMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field4-7 years of related experience Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solvingAdditional InformationTime Type:Full timeEmployee Type:Assignee / RegularTravel:Yes, 25% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:NoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
