As a Process Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a variety of difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelinesPerform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems, within safety guidelinesTroubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issuesGenerate internal and external documentation for products, presentations and technical reportsInteract with customers to resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues/problems with limited supervisionMeasure film properties and interpret dataIdentify, select and work with vendors and suppliers with limited supervisionImplement new technology, products and analytical instrumentationRequirements:PhD or Master or Bachelor in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related fieldResearch focus in semiconductor would be an added advantageAt least 2 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor including CVD/ PVD/ ALD process development fieldGood communication and interpersonal skillsProblem-solver attitude with determination and quality-mindsetWork Location:Fusionopolis/ Science Park IIAdditional InformationTime Type:Full timeEmployee Type:Assignee / RegularTravel:Relocation Eligible:NoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Required Qualifications

  • PhD or Master or Bachelor in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field (degree in master or bachelor in materials science)
  • Research focus in semiconductor would be an added advantage (experience)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor including CVD/ PVD/ ALD process development field (experience, 2 years)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (experience)
  • Problem-solver attitude with determination and quality-mindset (experience)
