Role OverviewWe are looking for a high-impact Technical Recruiter (contract role) with deep expertise in semiconductor hiring to support large-scale technician recruitment in Singapore. This role focuses on sourcing and delivering skilled manufacturing talent (e.g., cleanroom technicians, equipment technicians, operators) at speed to support critical production ramp-ups.The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of regional semiconductor talent market, thrives in high-volume environments, and can deliver high-quality hires under tight timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesHigh-Volume Semiconductor HiringManage end-to-end recruitment for semiconductor manufacturing roles, including:Equipment TechniciansManufacturing / Production TechniciansCleanroom OperatorsMaintenance TechniciansDeliver against aggressive hiring targets in a fast-paced, ramp-up environment.Build ready pipelines for recurring technician positions.Engage passive candidates with relevant semiconductor or cleanroom experience.Screening & Technical FitConduct structured screening to assess:Relevant manufacturing or cleanroom experienceShift flexibility (12-hour shifts, rotating schedules)Familiarity with semiconductor processes (e.g., wafer fab, assembly & test)Ensure candidates meet operational, compliance, and safety requirements.Stakeholder & Plant PartnershipPartner closely with hiring managers, production leaders, and HR to align on headcount plans and urgency.Provide real-time updates on pipeline health, hiring risks, and market conditions.Act as a trusted advisor on talent availability and hiring strategies.Speed, Efficiency & Process ExcellenceDrive fast turnaround times from sourcing to offer stage.Manage bulk hiring activities such as walk-in interviews, hiring days, and recruitment drives.Optimize recruitment workflows to reduce time-to-fill while maintaining quality.RequirementsProven experience recruiting for semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing roles in Singapore.Strong track record in high-volume hiring and fast delivery environments.Familiarity with technician-level roles in wafer fabrication, backend manufacturing, or cleanroom operations.Good understanding of Singapore hiring landscape, including:Local vs foreign hiring considerationsBasic MOM guidelines for workforce hiringExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver under tight timelines.Hands-on experience with ATS systems and recruitment metrics tracking.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting major semiconductor clients (e.g., fabs, OSAT, or equipment manufacturers).Established network within Singapore’s manufacturing talent pool.Experience organizing mass hiring events or campus hiring (ITE, polytechnics).Key CompetenciesSpeed & execution excellenceHigh-volume hiring capabilityMarket knowledge (Singapore semiconductor talent)Strong sourcing creativityResilience and adaptability in dynamic environmentsWhy This RoleThis is a critical, high-visibility role directly supporting semiconductor production ramp-ups in Singapore.
