Key ResponsibilitiesGood Knowledge of Manufacturability / Producibility practices specific to precision machined, sheet metal fabrication and plastic parts. Background in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Understanding basic electrical components would be desirable.Ability to perform technical calculations on individual build to print parts and simple assemblies to determine a fair and acceptable price for both Applied Materials and our suppliersUnderstanding of GD&T standards for proper application. Able to identify cost reduction / avoidance ideas through DFx tenets and collaborate with design engineers.Will prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements Will drive project deliverables and task details by using reports, tracking charts and, checklists.Good communication skills to work with cross functional teams like Design/Materials/Mfg./Quality/Suppliers are a must.Will participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects.
