Key Responsibilities:Support the maintenance and management of the engineering reporting systemsDrive improvements suggestions for improvement in the systemsProvide monthly engineering reports with performance analysis and to ensure that project actual/forecast/budget costs are accurately reflectedSupport Finance Manager with short-term and long-term engineering reporting system planning and forecasting / budgetingConduct various analyses as required to improve budget and forecasting effortSupport development of the engineering business plan and monthly forecastDefine business risks and opportunities and identification of improvementsEngage with with engineering teams to drive resourcing and forecasting accuracyProvide support to ensure the project actual costs are accurately reflectedParticipation in financial month-end closing activitiesPreparation of monthly journal vouchersIdeal candidate will have the following backgroundRequired competences:Bachelor’s degree in finance/accountingFluent computer skills, in particular ExcelInterpersonal skills; self-confident, communicative and team workerHighly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a teamAbility to speak, read, write EnglishPreferred competences:Master’s DegreeAccounting KnowledgePrior professional experienceAbility to work with large amount of data using e.g. Alteryx, PowerQuery, SQL or MS Access#LI-PT2Privacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidatesAptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
