We are looking for a Engineering & Maintenance Department Manager to ensure and oversee all system transactions related to the department, update production process documentation, participate in new projects transferred to the site, and manage all activities related to the Maintenance department within the unit.Additionally, coordinate all activities related to the implementation of new processes or projects within the plant.Role Scope & ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesThe Engineering Department Manager is responsible for:Project & Process OwnershipAct as process owner for flows 1, 2, 4, and 5, including accountability for related resultsDefine and manage activity plans for new projectsEnsure successful execution of new project programsCoordinate the installation of new processes or projects within the plantTeam Leadership & CoordinationSupport and train team leadersOrganize daily meetings with engineers to identify deviations and implement corrective actionsCoordinate cross-functional project activities and engineering changesEngineering & Operations ManagementPlan model change programsImplement new layouts and engineering changesEnsure proper interpretation and application of engineering proceduresApprove work instructions and technical/organizational documentationEnsure compliance with Aptiv standards during layout designContinuous Improvement & PerformanceContribute to defining continuous improvement objectivesDevelop and execute action plans to meet these objectivesMonitor and ensure achievement of improvement targetsOptimize processes and working methodsManage and track cost-reduction programs across all projectsQuality & IndustrializationCoordinate PPAP preparation and first production samplesContribute to control plan development with the Quality teamPlanning & BudgetPlan departmental activitiesEnsure adherence to the allocated budgetGovernance & ComplianceParticipate in weekly technical meetings with the Plant Manager and department headsEnsure compliance with:Quality standardsSafety regulationsEnvironmental proceduresHas the authority to stop any process that represents a safety risk to employeesCandidate Profile1.
