Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?YOUR ROLEOur Project Managers drive global, cross-functional teams, from business award through product launch to successfully deliver advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety within the consumer market with ground-breaking technology. The PM will drive & own E2E program planning and execution including program P&L margins; ensure high customer satisfaction for programs delivered; oversee talent management for project management employees and ensure high employee satisfaction. Responsibilities: Support project execution from business award through end-of-life for a particular set of vehicle programs or products.Champion Overall Project Plan, Reviews, and milestones.Risk Management through cross-functional problem solving and mitigation strategy developmentSupport in Change Management to ensure any and all costs associated with a change are captured and quoted to maintain program profitability.Champion cross-functional team discussions to ensure cooperation with the relevant technical experts (Engineering Project Leader, Quality, Sales, SCM, Manufacturing, etc..) is achieved to drive expected progress of product development and achieve overall project milestonesAssess critical path and project risks/issues while aligning with stakeholders to deliver flawless executionDevelop relationship with customer and engage with regularly for all Project activityEffectively manage customer and ensure communication alignment between stakeholdersPrepare status reports for assigned project activities (Gate Reviews, Executive Reports, open issues/key actions, critical path, issues/risk, progress vs. KPI’s, etc.)Escalate risks/issues as needed to protect project commitmentsEnsure proper staffing is in alignment with key areas - resource planning/projects goalsMeet investment spending and financial statistics from Project Award through CAPEX planning and tracking and spend contributionLead by example to develop a “one team” mindset and environmentMust be a team player; must demonstrate a willingness to work with and assist colleagues, focusing on continuous improvement of project quality, processes and relationshipsWillingness to Identify and communicate opportunities to streamline work cadence/reduce inefficiencies Provide input into Customer Sales Lead / Product org on key features to incorporate into the product roadmapSupport the Customer Sales Lead in their pursuits by providing input on feasibility, coast and timing associated with programsSupport in providing project forecast to feed into budget and financial planning,Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or equivalent relevant experiencePrevious project / program development experience within automotiveDemonstrated experience working with OEMs and understanding of their product development and program execution ecosystemStrong knowledge of Industrialization Operating Systems, with experience supporting manufacturing readiness, program launches, and cross-functional execution.Proficient in MS excel, PowerPoint, MS project, and MS wordStrong organization, planning and follow up skillsStrong presentation skillsExcellent team player and ability to work effectively with othersAbility to demonstrate and communicate a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving WHY JOIN US?You can grow at Aptiv.
