Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?YOUR ROLEThe Internal Audit (IA) Senior is responsible for performing audit engagements (financial, operational, compliance, and SOX audits), including procedures over planning, risk assessment, test work, workpapers, audit conclusions, and reporting.RESPONSABILITIES:Prepare audit workpapers in accordance with Internal Audit StandardsSummarize audit findings and develop clear, concise, and value-added audit observationsIdentify control gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvementEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controlsMaintain effective communications with client managementEffectively handle special assignments on diverse audit projectsMaintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high energy level, influencing and motivating team membersExhibit teamwork skills and abilities and promote qualityExhibit characteristics of professional excellence through continuing professional educationREQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting, financial, and AuditAt least 2 years with public accounting firmRemainder in internal audit for large multi-national companyBachelor’s degree required in Accounting/Business/Economics or other relevant subjectKnowledge in CTPAT and AEO requirementsMaster’s degree (preferred)Certifications preferred: CPA or CIALanguage Competency: Advanced English required, fluent verbally and writtenAbility to travel regionally and internationally up to 25%High level of analytical ability and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of audit methods and techniquesKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and requirementsEffective and concise business writing skillsHigh level interpersonal skills to work effectively with audit team members and clientsProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience in use of the Workiva online tool platform and Electronic Work Papers (preferred)SAP experience (preferred)WHY JOIN US?You can grow at Aptiv.
