This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.Your RoleMajor Accountabilities:Own Global Product Perception Systems (Vision, Radar, USS) data management strategies (how to collect, how to store, how utilize) in India in alignment with Aptiv’s overall GPO data management strategyAccountable for Perception Systems data collection planning and tracking used for Training and Verification for perception, ADAS, parking and interior systems and potentially expanding to other sensor sets (e.g. Lidar)Accountable for Perception Systems data collection vehicle tracking ensuring proper platform hardware and software configurationDrive data quality initiatives and any necessary corrective actions utilizing Jira toolsetSupport Platform Technical Program Managers by developing / executing data management plans that align with their Platform development timelines enabling delivery per Product RoadmapDeliver short term and long term Global Product data storage strategiesAlign with the GPO data management on optimizing data collection / logging equipment architecture and capital procurementLead data analytics maximizing value of data collectedEnsure applicable data privacy regulations are met, including leading data desensitizing and data export strategies that both comply with applicable regulations and project needsSupport data harvesting, management strategies associated with localization based functionsActively participate in quarterly Big Room Planning events and provide necessary pre-work inputsAct as lead technical interface to internal and external customers with regards to data topicsParticipate and contribute to product strategy and vehicle architecture meetings with other product lines within Global ProductSupport technically the Platform Technical Program Manager and the Technical Sales Specialist during Business Pursuits and Pre-RFQ activities such as internal and customer demosSupport Platform Sensing Owners by developing / executing data management plans that align with their Platform Requirements and sensing Feature RoadmapsProvide requirements to the System, SW, and HW team pertaining to the logging architecture, HW integration, interfaces to the platform tools, etc.Maintain the vehicle checkout procedure and documents buy in from all stakeholders before start of data collectionMaintain lessons learnt and best practices for all data and vehicle management topics such as data privacy, thermal issues, vehicle checkouts, sensor re-calibration, etc.Own the vehicle instrumentation in accordance to the platform data collection architecture, including the ground truth sensors and the vehicle specific adaptations such as gateways, sensor brackets, …Perform all necessary sensor calibrations in accordance to the platform procedures and drive any necessary changes, documentation, and improvement as necessary in alignment with the global TPMsCollaborate with the sensing feature owners that the checkout drives are completed in a timely manner, issues are documented and tracked until KPIs are met.Collaborate with the vehicle system teams on vehicle instrumentation and data collection activitiesYour BackgroundKey ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:Required Skillsets / Experience:· Previous Automotive Technical Experience (3 year minimum)· Previous Automotive Data and/or Vehicle Management Experience (1 year minimum)· Previous Ground Truth Experience· Big Data Set Analytic Methodologies Skillsets· Self-Driven and Hands On ContributorRelevant Technical Degree (Masters preferred)Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.You can have an impact.
