We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Homecare Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the safe and accurate preparation, handling, and dispatch of medicines for Homecare patients.Working in a regulated environment, you’ll follow Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) and pharmacy procedures under the guidance of the Responsible Pharmacist—helping ensure patients receive critical treatments safely and on time.What You’ll Be DoingReceiving and booking in products, ensuring accurate system entry and storageStoring medicines in line with batch control and first-expired, first-out (FEFO) principlesPicking, dispensing, and dispatching patient orders with a high level of accuracyWorking to strict SOPs and operational KPIs to meet service requirementsCarrying out compliance and quality checks across warehouse and pharmacy operationsEscalating discrepancies or issues to the management team or Responsible PharmacistRecording incidents, complaints, and supporting investigations where neededManaging returns and safe disposal of medicines and wasteWhat We’re Looking ForQualificationsNVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Assistant (or equivalent)SkillsStrong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyGood IT skills, including experience with warehouse or pharmacy systemsWell organised with strong communication skillsExperienceExperience in a pharmacy and/or warehouse environmentExperience following standard operating proceduresCold chain handling experience (desirable)KnowledgeUnderstanding of safeguarding (Level 1 or equivalent)Knowledge of safe manual handling practicesAwareness of Good Documentation PracticeWorking EnvironmentActive role involving frequent manual handlingShift-based working patternsUse of PPE required (e.g. gloves, safety boots, protective eyewear)Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to join a team making a real difference—ensuring patients receive essential medicines safely and reliably.
