Your Role at BaxterThis is where we make life-saving productsAs a Predictive Maintenance Technician, you will monitor equipment health using vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, and lubrication technologies to identify issues before failures occur. You will analyze equipment data, perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and support reliability and uptime improvements across the facility.Your TeamYou will work closely with maintenance, operations, and reliability professionals focused on increasing equipment performance and reducing downtime. Together, the team uses predictive maintenance tools and continuous improvement practices to improve asset reliability and plant productivity.What we offer from Day OneShift flexibility to trade shifts and leverage overtime opportunitiesMedical, Dental and Vision coverage160 hours of Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays401K matchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramPaid Parental LeaveTuition ReimbursementWhat you'll be doingEstablishes PdM routes, collects and analyses data, reports on data variances to baseline information in a predictive format to prevent equipment failure and determine maintenance actions in advance of failures.Analyze machine failures for root cause and implement corrective actions and root cause training.Execution of proactive maintenance strategies for equipment inspection with focus on equipment lubrication and data collection using PdM tools (Primarily Ultrasonic, Infrared and Vibration)Performing periodic proactive asset strategies, such as maintenance routes, preventative maintenance, and other tasks to improve reliability and uptimeMaintaining accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventive maintenance findingsWorking with the operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needsUnderstand the use of predictive maintenance tools - Develop opportunities to use predictive tools by attending training and then training others in Laser Alignment - Vibration Analysis – Infrared – UltrasonicDiagnose mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issuesThis position involves working around moving equipmentCan include working in a Class I, Class II, Class III or Class IV Controlled Environment which may include the following dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnet, beard cover, isolation mask, gown, hood, boots or shoe covers, face shield, insulated gloves and disposable glovesWork in Arc Flash Hazard Category 0, 1, and 2 requiring F/R uniform and Arc Flash glovesWhat you'll bringHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance or equivalent is requiredAssociates degree in a technical related subject area (i.e. Industrial Maintenance) preferredLevel 1 certification in one or more of the following technologies: Vibration Analysis, IR Thermography and Ultrasonic Testing preferred.Experience with Maximo CMMS System a plus.Root cause failure analysis experience and trouble-shooting skills requiredIncumbent must have demonstrated excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail, good problem solving and analytical skills required.Customer orientation, teamwork skills and the ability to actively commit to, support and participate in continuous improvement activities are necessary for success in this position.Basic computer skills requiredWell organizedSelf-motivated to achieve goals and require little supervisionPhysical RequirementsThe position requires the ability to individually lift and carry up to 50 poundsMust be able to bend/stoop, squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balanceNormal visual acuity is necessary including the ability to distinguish colors.We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Establishes PdM routes, collects and analyses data, reports on data variances to baseline information in a predictive format to prevent equipment failure and determine maintenance actions in advance of failures.
  • Analyze machine failures for root cause and implement corrective actions and root cause training.
  • Execution of proactive maintenance strategies for equipment inspection with focus on equipment lubrication and data collection using PdM tools (Primarily Ultrasonic, Infrared and Vibration)
