Product Security EngineerSummary: As part, a member of an R&D team, the Product Security Engineer works in close collaboration with the project & cybersecurity lead on assigned tasks and provides inputs to the design and testing of the new product/project. The engineer also provides guidance to software developers on their security issues, engages in design reviews, and helps resolve security issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing on various medical products and projects.Provide/Implement security guidance and best practices in the design and development lifecycle of various medical products.Prepare and document standard operating procedures and evaluate industry standards.Determines required tasks and completes them on time with no supervisionIdentifies and communicates potential risks with appropriate mitigationsSupports other engineers on their designs, and also receives guidance from Specialists or Principal EngineerExperience:BS Degree (preferably in a technical discipline)8+ years of engineering experience, or comparable experience6+ years of security engineering experienceExperience is preferred in/with vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, threat modeling, security risk assessments, penetration testing, cloud security (Azure), web application security, mobile device securityStrong Organizational and communication skillsProficient problem-solving skillsStrong Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environmentExperience in the medical device industry and FDA Regulations is preferredEqual Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
