Job DescriptionAvailable to work a flexible 12-hour day or night shift as business needs requireKey ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation equipment.Learn to diagnose and correct PLC and control system malfunctions.Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical control devices, instruments, drives, and related equipment.Support engineering projects involving PLCs, servo systems, vision systems, motor controls, molding equipment, and other automation technologies.Perform preventive maintenance and calibration activities according to schedule.Assist production teams with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls.Repair existing electrical and mechanical components and initiate purchase requisitions for replacement parts and supplies as needed.Work with PLCs, drives, and control systems to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide guidance and training to Electrical Mechanical Technician Interns.Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and procedures.QualificationsEducationAssociate degree (2-year technical degree) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field required.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment preferred.Experience working with PLCs, drives, controls, and automation systems preferred.Technical SkillsKnowledge of electrical and electronic troubleshooting techniques.Ability to diagnose and repair automation equipment and control systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment calibration activities.Proficiency with electronic test equipment, hand tools, computers, and material handling equipment.Physical RequirementsPhysical Requirements Level 3 – Medium WorkAbility to exert 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.Physical demands exceed those typically associated with Light Work.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks required to support manufacturing and maintenance operations.Additional RequirementsLicensed forklift operator required.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Strong communication and teamwork skills with production personnel, engineers, and leadership teams.Must comply with all company safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Work EnvironmentSupports a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Responsible for following all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require.Ideal CandidateA hands-on maintenance professional with experience in automation and manufacturing equipment who is eager to expand their skills in PLCs, drives, controls, servo systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies while supporting production and engineering teams.Why Join Us?To find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
