Job DescriptionAbout the role:The Product Manager, Acute Dialysis is responsible for business performance and long-term portfolio health for their assigned product portfolio. This role serves as the marketing lead on new product development, sustaining engineering projects, and tactical execution within the Acute Dialysis portfolio. This position will work in close partnership with commercial, R&D, operations, regulatory, quality, finance, and other functional teams across BD to ensure strong performance of their assigned product portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to advance prioritized projects in line with key business goals for revenue, profitability, and timingDemonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and clinical application in the vascular access spaceBuild product line marketing strategy in alignment with business goalsDefine and lead required voice of customer / market insights work in support of portfolio objectivesLeverage customer insights and functional input to develop project business cases and commercial plans to deliver above market growthCollaborate with global and regional commercial teams to ensure decisions are informed by the most relevant local market dynamics; communicate decisions, their implications, and required actions to local commercial teams in a clear and timely mannerClearly communicate commercial performance with high level leadership stakeholders; provide recommendations and strategic adjustments with a strong bias towards financial results, product quality, and customer impactPartner with supply chain on product line global demand forecast and manage product supply continuity, including resolution of allocation/backorderPrepare and present general project and overall business updates to leadership as requiredEstablish pricing corridors for the product lineMinimum Education and Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical DisciplineMinimum of 3 years product management experience requiredExcellent communication, presentation and writing skillsPassion for challenging the status quo through technology or process disruptionDemonstrated experience working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, results oriented environmentCapability to manage day-to-day product line execution, including global demand forecasting, product-level supply continuity, allocation/backorder resolution, and pricing corridor input.Ability to conduct voice of customer and market research studies to inform portfolio lifecycle management strategies25%+ global travel requiredPreferred QualificationsMBA or advanced degreeMedical device or Life Science experienceDirect experience in driving financial resultsStrong technical backgroundAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical Discipline (degree in marketing)
  • Minimum of 3 years product management experience required (experience, 3 years)

  • Demonstrated experience working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, results oriented environment (experience)
  • Capability to manage day-to-day product line execution, including global demand forecasting, product-level supply continuity, allocation/backorder resolution, and pricing corridor input. (experience)

  • 25%+ global travel required (experience)
