The Global Financial Planning & Analysis Group performs analyses and financial reporting of Firmwide results and originates and executes strategic Firm initiatives. The team works closely with Blackstone management to perform corporate finance analyses.Prepare, consolidate, and analyze Blackstone’s financial forecast and weekly reporting for senior managementPrepare, collect, consolidate, and analyze Blackstone’s financial results as part of quarterly earnings processConduct financial analysis on Blackstone’s business units and corporate groupsFinancial modeling / valuation analysisDraft presentations and memorandums for senior managementPartner with Business Finance and Investor Relations teams for client and investor meetings and inquiriesImplement new processes/systems creating operational efficiencies and reporting enhancementsPrepare quarterly board and audit committee packages, analyst call materials, and SMD presentationsAid in the preparation of strategic plans, budgets, and new business analysesConduct research on competitors’ earnings and financial analysesProvide analysis and support to the CFO and management on an ad hoc basisSpecial projects in support of Blackstone’s businessesQualifications:6+ years of related experienceUndergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or EconomicsStrong academic recordFP&A, management reporting, or advisory services experience preferredStrong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skillsStrong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Essbase, Anaplan, or Tableau a plusDetail-oriented and highly organizedStrong presentation skillsWorks well in a dynamic environment and handles multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables and meeting deadlinesWorks effectively in a team environment; proactive and takes initiativeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal A desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a positive attitudeHighly motivated and enthusiasticEffective at building professional relationships with internal and external counterpartiesThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position. Assignments, duties, and responsibilities may be changed at any time, with or without notice, by Blackstone in its sole discretion.Expected annual base salary range:$135,000 - $200,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses.
