Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.As a Data Governance System Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the evolution of mission data governance by leading modernization efforts for the client's enterprise data flow team. Your customer will trust you to provide Tier 1 operations support for customer data flow requests, specify data handling and usage requirements for new data flows, define and harden data schemas, determine metadata tagging to support data interoperability. You will coordinate with data flow service providers, and define processes, business rules, and functional requirements for mission systems that support effective data governance. You will work closely with customers and stakeholders across a variety of roles and teams to plan and implement dataflows supporting critical cyber missions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skill set into areas like cross-domain technologies and concepts, data handling and tagging, data schema development, and validation. You will integrate the use of AI tools to develop schemas and modernize data governance processes. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
