Environmental Remediation Project ManagerThe Opportunity: Deliver project management and technical advising services for Department of War (DoW) environmental clients. Advise on environmental program strategic planning, programming, budgeting, scheduling, management, execution, and contract surveillance. Assist DoW environmental clients in managing remediation sites with contaminated soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater. Provide feedback on studies, analyses, and evaluations, offering technical expertise on geology, hydrogeology, hydrology, chemistry, or risk assessment related to environmental site characterization and remediation at federal facilities. Analyze and interpret regulatory, policy, and guidance requirements as it applies to the environmental restoration program. Perform review of historic and publicly available information to develop environmental investigation and remediation strategies. Conduct research and analysis, data evaluation, and data interpretation to build actionable recommendations to DoW clients. Review environmental restoration documents, including work plans and reports, for site investigation and remediation. Support clients with preparation of contracting packages for environmental projects and technical reviews of proposals. Prepare briefing slides and facilitate and participate in meetings or teleconferences with DoW, contractors, regulators, and the public along with other stakeholders. Oversee DoW contractors at environmental sites during environmental investigation and remediation field activities. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
