As a Joint Fires Planner and Exercise SME, you’ll bring your joint planning, joint fires, and joint-combined exercise expertise to work alongside thought leaders in operations, plans, and exercises on projects for USEUCOM. You’ll use your skills and experience to develop Joint Fires Annexes to USEUCOM plans and integrate them into USEUCOM and allied exercise planning events. The world can’t wait.You Have: 8+ years of experience working in the Department of Defense as military, civilian, or contractor in a joint or combined HQ, major command, or higher headquarters5+ years of experience in military exercise planning at the Component Command, Combatant Command, or Service level, including the Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC), Joint Training System (JTS), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS)3+ years of experience in Joint Fires or multi-domain operations planning3+ years of experience writing annexes or appendices for joint Combatant Command campaign plans, as well as CONPLANS, OPLANS, and Base PlansKnowledge of joint staffing functions and actionsAbility to manage planning efforts of multiple events simultaneouslyAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeTS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degreeCompletion of the JPME I CourseNice If You Have: Experience planning and conducting exercises with allies and foreign partnersAbility to be a highly flexible self-starter capable of operating in a high-OPTEMPO environmentPossession of excellent analytical skills, at the strategic and operational levelsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent research and organizational skillsMaster’s degree Completion of the JPME II CourseClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
