Joint Fires SMEThe Opportunity:As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.As a Joint Fires SME, you’ll bring your tactical expertise to work on projects for synthetic environment training. You’ll support live, virtual, and constructive training and exercises to help prepare the warfighter for Joint Fires missions. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes that help develop the tactics, techniques, and procedures the supported units utilize. You’ll guide the work we do for mission rehearsal in the synthetic environment and the solutions we deliver for defense mission planning.You served your country as a seasoned Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), now continue your mission with us. The world can’t wait.You Have: Experience in kinetic strike operations, including planning, coordination, integration, and execution within joint and multi-domain operational environmentsExperience leading Joint Exercise Life Cycle planning from initial coordination and concept development through detailed planning, integration, execution, and post-exercise assessmentExperience integrating Joint Fires into exercise design and executionAbility to confidently convey information and provide recommendations to senior staff and military officials to enable executive-level dialogue and national decision-making optionsAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDJTAC CertificationNice If You Have: Experience using the Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE) and Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) to support modeling, simulation, mission planning, or joint training and exercise executionExperience with the joint targeting cycle, JADC2 system, or integrating fires and effects into modeling, simulation, and synthetic training environmentsKnowledge of policy pertaining to the standardization of readiness for special operations forcesJTAC Instructor CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
