Microelectronics Vulnerability ResearcherThe Opportunity: We are seeking a hands-on engineer who enjoys understanding how embedded devices work at a low level. In this role, you’ll investigate hardware security implementations, analyze embedded systems, and develop techniques to recover data and evaluate device security in support of investigative capabilities for law enforcement. This is a highly technical, lab-focused engineering role centered on hardware analysis, reverse engineering, debugging, and experimentation. You’ll work with embedded systems, security subsystems, debugging interfaces, and memory technologies to solve challenging technical problems and support mission-critical investigative capabilities.You’ll join a mission-oriented engineering team focused on developing innovative tools and techniques for digital forensics and hardware analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, low-level system analysis, and figuring out how devices work beneath the surface.Join us. The world can’t wait. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
