In this role, you will apply extensive subject‑matter expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, large‑scale data m anagement, and secure database administration to design, optimize, and modernize enterprise data environments. You will work within Agile project structures—partnering closely with Program Managers, developers, and Navy stakeholders—to support database projects, manage performance baselines, ensure data accuracy, and implement secure access practices across massive datasets. You understand that database administrators are central to mission continuity—maintaining availability, performance, security, and recovery posture while supporting ongoing modernization initiatives. You will analyze system requirements, architect solutions, coordinate database migrations, and help the Navy establish durable, efficient, and compliant data management capabilities. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
