We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager (Gerente de Logística) to join our team in Juárez, Mexico. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize our entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics processes while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of logistics, including planning, procurement, storage, inventory control, and distribution
  • Optimize cross-border logistics operations between Mexico and the United States
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to streamline processes and improve performance
  • Analyze data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade laws
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners
  • Implement and oversee warehouse management systems and technologies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage budgets and control costs while maintaining service quality
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in logistics processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or cross-border trade environment
  • Proven expertise in supply chain processes, warehouse management, and inventory control
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and cross-border logistics operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; experience with other logistics management software is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and development
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Experience with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Innovative mindset with a track record of implementing process improvements and new technologies in logistics operations
