Management of all Mexico Customs & Trade import/export complianceactivities.• Coordination with R&D Team regarding “Direct to Patient" shipments.• Audit host for Financial and Trade Compliance purposes.• Vendor management in compliance with FCPA&BCF directives, contract &procedures amendments, updates, revision and approval.• Working together with Taxes, Legal, Finance, Procurement, TPM’s, PlantSites, R&D, Regional Logistics colleagues, Regulatory, Security, Externalpartners and many others in the effective and efficient deployment of fluidC&T capabilities for inbound operations.• Represent C&T in local Events and Councils (Internal and External).• Provide support for Mexico Customs & Trade operations. Support aconsistent, reliable, high quality, cost-effective and agile Regional Tradefunctionality. Manage the development of the functional organizationstructure to meet the functional objectives of Mexico C&T in terms of cost,service, and quality for both organizations (Commercial & R&D).• As a person responsible for Mexico Customs & Trade, strongly support theMexico operation, managing the broker implants and all the expensesrelated with Import/Export daily operations.• Act as Mexico Customs & Trade representative and escalation point forissue resolution.Designee Role and ResponsibilitiesThis position can be a designee for Customs & Trade Senior Manager forLATAM:• The main purpose of this role is to provide C&T support for Latam region(import/export) operations.• This role will be responsible to manage operational activities and willprovide significant support to Latam Trade Compliance Regional Lead, on anongoing basis.• Acting as the contact point person for all markets operations (managingurgent needs, projects, supporting duties and other logistics relatedpayments, new launches).Required CompetenciesDemonstrated leadership capabilities, especially in building highly effective,world class, global cross-functional teams.• Strong ability in negotiating and influencing with and without authority incomplex, high impact, highly-regulated situations.• Strong ability in understanding commercial, regulatory and access operatingprinciples to translate them into Logistics solutions.• Demonstrated capability in implementing challenging goals, objectives andpractices in a complex, ambiguous and highly regulated environment.• Developed ability to create and foster a team-based environment toestablish and maintain cooperative relationships with individuals contactedduring the course of work.• Strong presentation and communication skills both, oral and written, inEnglish and Spanish/Portuguese.• Strongly Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in competency areas ofStrategic Agility, Organizational Agility, Business Acumen, Process Designand Management, Organization Change Management and ProcessEffectiveness - in globally diverse, rapidly changing cross-culturalenvironment.• Strongly Preferred: Strong coaching, mentoring and employee developmentskills.• Preferred: Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, problemsolving and rapid decision-making skills, as well as significant soft skills.Required Qualifications and desired experience• Undergraduate degree preferably in Customs & Trade, Supply ChainManagement & Logistics.• Advanced degree, diploma or certification in Customs & Trade, Supply Chain& Logistics or MBA strongly preferred in Customs or Trade Compliance.• 5 + years of Customs & Trade Management experience for a reputed, globalPharmaceutical or similar product profile company. 5 + years should be inpositions of manager, preferably based in Latin America markets.• Significant knowledge and best practice experience working with strategiclogistical service providers for global Logistics solutions, with emphasis onGlobal Trade across all product types, setting the Customer at the center ofthe processes.• Experience with AEO certification and other relevant Global Trade programsand bodies.• Good understanding and exposure to Global/LA Trade regulations and otherglobal regulatory body requirements.• Experience in developing and implementing world class, Global Tradeprocesses.• Exposure and experience in Global Supply Chain process, principles, andpractices.• Experience with SAP (Production.
