In the future, this role may develop in a dedicated planner or scheduler role.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan (What and How)Plan all Preventive Maintenance and On Demand Corrective Work Orders prior to being Scheduled to ensure all necessary parts, tools, drawings, and equipment, are available for the F&E Technician/ External Vendor to perform workPoint of contact for all technical discussions with external vendors regarding maintenance and calibration work they will complete or have completed on sitePoint of contact for all vendor Service documents that were not handed over at the time the work was completedEnsure all critical/ required spare parts are purchased and stored in secure location for each system typeVerify that all required safety permits are approved and obtained where requiredPrepares or arranges for any Job Safety Permits such as LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space, Roof Access, Fire System Impairment, etc.Liaise with vendors before they start work to ensure their training, equipment, spare parts, PPE etc. is suitable and conforms to BMS requirementsSchedule (Who and When)Maintain the Maximo/ CMMS system to ensure that equipment, instrumentation, maintenance schedules, personnel and spare parts are correctly set up and maintained.Generates planned and unplanned work orders on Maximo/ CMMS & checks work requests on a daily basisWorks with vendor to organize and agree dates for vendor visit for Maintenance activitiesCollects all the information needed to complete the work request, consulting the requestor as neededCreate appropriate type of work order based on work request asset criticalityEstablish Priority of work order based on final scope of workEnsure attachments included in work request are noted in work descriptionCommunicates status of WO to the Equipment Owner and appropriate departmentsConsults with F&E or System Owner to determine the scope of activities needed to accomplish the work requestPrioritizes and Schedules the WO based on initial information and current workload of the facility and assign work to appropriate technicianIssues Maximo / CMMS reports in a timely manner to agreed recipientsApproves and completes work orders on Maximo/ CMMSQualifications & ExperienceEducationKnowledge of maintenance, operations and engineering generally attained through studies resulting in a bachelor’s in engineering, a related discipline, or its equivalentundefinedExperienceA Minimum 4 years’ experience in one of the following fields: Clean Utilities Operations/Maintenance, (Biopharmaceutical) Process Equipment Maintenance, Experience with the alignment of Manufacturing Schedule with the Maintenance Schedule.Experience in developing and following up on contracts with outside vendors in the performance of maintenance activitiesWorking knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Maximo or similar.Self-motivated, pro-active, and able to work with minimal supervisionGood written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English#LI-HybridWe hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials – if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.How We WorkWhere you work matters – because collaboration, innovation and patient impact happen in many settings.
