If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Fab Equipment EngineerJob SummaryWe are looking for dedicated and technically proficient Fab Equipment Engineer responsible for maintaining, repairing, and continuously improving high-volume manufacturing equipment in our cleanroom environment. The successful candidate will ensure maximum equipment uptime, optimize equipment performance, and contribute to process yield and cost improvement goals.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance and ReliabilityPerform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and unscheduled repairs on various semiconductor/fab equipment, focusing on MOCVD reactors, Lithography, E-Beam, Aligners, Coaters/ Developers, PECVD, RIE, Polishers, Metrology and other fab support tools.Lead the troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment malfunctions to quickly restore tools to production-ready status and minimize unscheduled downtime.Develop, refine, and document standardized maintenance procedures for all assigned equipment.Manage equipment spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and technical support.Process Optimization and ImprovementCollaborate closely with Process Engineers to improve equipment stability, process control, and MTBF.Identify, analyze, and resolve recurring equipment failures or defects using root cause analysis methodologies (DMAIC, 8D).Implement equipment upgrades and modifications to enhance performance, increase throughput, and reduce manufacturing costs.Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis tools to monitor equipment health and predict potential failures.Safety and ComplianceEnsure all maintenance activities adhere to strict cleanroom protocols, risk assessments, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards.Participate in safety audits and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and other safety programs.Accurately document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and system changes in the ISS inventory tracker.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Equipment Engineer in a high-volume semiconductor frontend manufacturing environment or experience working as an OEM field service tool support for this type of environment.Proven expertise in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting some of the specified tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using RCA tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, P&ID).Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
