You will serve as an expert for software taxation and purchase exemptions while driving automation across our tax workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical SME: Provide indirect tax guidance for new products and Business Units, focusing on software sales and and purchase exemptions including data center and California partial manufacturing and R&D exemptionCompliance & Audits: Oversee co-sourced U.S. sales, use, and property tax compliance; manage external providers and lead tax controversy, audits, and refund claims.Process Innovation: Identify and implement automation improvements within tax workflows and the OneSource/Sabrix tax engine.Strategic Projects: Act as one of the tax lead for M&A integrations and cross-functional initiatives with Finance, IT, and Procurement.Policy Monitoring: Track legislative changes and proactively communicate impact and solutions to leadership.QualificationsExperience: Bachelors and 15+ years or Masters and 13+ years of experience in public accounting and the technology industry.Systems: Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and OneSource/Sabrix is required.Technical Depth: Expertise in U.S. sales and use tax, specifically relating to software, sourcing, and manufacturing.Data Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency for data modeling and forecasting.Execution: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complexCompensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is ToAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
