Working alongside world-class compliance, legal, and business leaders, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance excellence while enabling business success.If you're looking to accelerate your career within a dynamic compliance organization, this is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, solve complex challenges and act as a true business partner to help define the future of trade compliance at Caterpillar.What You Will Do: Develop and execute risk assessments of Export Control and Trade compliance programs to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.Collaborate with in-region Business Divisions, Compliance teams, and Legal teams to provide strategic and operational support for global trade management at CaterpillarSupport the development, implementation and maintenance of Export Control and Trade compliance policies and proceduresProvide training on government laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to organizational products, services and technologiesProactively monitor, manage and mitigate risks through stakeholders, business partner engagement.Assist with development and implementation of compliance strategies and goals in line with company's business objectivesEffectively communicate insights, progress, and recommendations across the organization as neededWhat You Will Bring: International Trade: Knowledge of the markets, issues, regulations, practices and operations of international trade; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship and stakeholder management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with various stakeholders, peers within the division and across CaterpillarAnalytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques and the ability to collaborate vertically and horizontally, across levels and various business functions, and with external parties Top Candidates Will Have:Minimum 8+ years’ experience with trade compliance or a related fieldDemonstrated business partnering, advocacy, and acumen with strong intellectual curiosityDevelopment and/or management of trade compliance processesExperience building, implementing, or enhancing compliance programs and operational controls in a multi-national business environmentProven ability to lead, influence, and build trust with stakeholders at all organizational levelsStrategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and develops innovative solutions to complex regulatory challenges Posting Dates:August 26, 2026 - September 6, 2026Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute risk assessments of Export Control and Trade compliance programs to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with in-region Business Divisions, Compliance teams, and Legal teams to provide strategic and operational support for global trade management at Caterpillar
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Export Control and Trade compliance policies and procedures
  • Provide training on government laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to organizational products, services and technologies
  • Proactively monitor, manage and mitigate risks through stakeholders, business partner engagement.
  • Assist with development and implementation of compliance strategies and goals in line with company's business objectives
