Watch our video to see our team build top-of-the-line compact track loaders.What this looks like:3rd Shift Starting Pay: $24.00/hour (+ 8% Shift Premium)3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30 PM - 5:30 AM, Overtime as business needs require Under general supervision supports current product production through the testing and repair of BCP machines according to the specifications from Engineering. Tests and validates production machines according to Engineering protocols. Performs carious activities to test for proper operations and quality issues of BCP machines, performing necessary rework and repair when issues are found. May coordinate CSD compliance through coordination of off line WIP activity and other duties as assigned. Job duties may include the following:Operation of Sanford built productsIn depth knowledge of hydraulics including testing and calibrationsAbility to read electrical schematics and follow the electrical circuits on machinesPerform rework on quality defects that cannot be immediately addressed on the assembly lineSupport Design Engineers by gathering data for research and evaluations, by conducting technically complex teardowns and assembly of BCP components/equipment.Uses various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties and may include the use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs.Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free assembly and/or adjustment of components and prime product.May conduct assembly on new product introductions according to engineering schematicsFollows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard WorkDefine, communicate and verify daily rework activitiesRelies on independent decision-making and problem solving to complete job tasksActive participation in scheduling and confirming rework activitiesMust meet deadlinesAbility to multitask and prioritize workMonitor CAT computer system to conduct hydraulic, electrical, mechanical or other component tests on BCP machinesCatalogues defects and resolution in computer based systemConduct additional diagnostics and analysis to identify defects and quality issues that are more complexCatalogues failures and communicates to relevant personnel as appropriateScheduling shipment of prime product ensuring CSD complianceWorking knowledge of Caterpillar systems, ATRS, PSPS, STARCross-function communication to complete tasksEffective teamworkProvide summaries to leadership Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periodsAbility to perform repetitive operationsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.
