As an autonomy engineer, you will design innovative solutions that deliver safety and productivity for customers around the globe. Every day you will work with your team to solve real world problems and bring those solutions to production. What You Will Do:Collaborate with software, hardware, and platform teams to develop and deliver hauling autonomy solutions to productionManage program scope, timelines, and deliverablesWork with stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutionsIdentify, evaluate, and select vehicle level autonomy solutionsAnalyze value and risk of proposed changes and evaluate design tradeoffsEducation requirement:Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or PhD in an accredited Robotics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related degreeWhat skills you will have:Strong familiarity with robotics and autonomy fundamentalsExperience with software and electronic hardware development processesEffective collaboration across teams with diverse skillsStrong organization and project management skillsExperience executing engineering design process on autonomy or robotics projectsRequirements decomposition and solution creationAdditional Information: This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Irving, TX office.Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.This position may require up to 10% travel.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.#LI Summary Pay Range:$112,710.00 - $183,140.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or PhD in an accredited Robotics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related degree (degree in phd in an accredited robotics)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and platform teams to develop and deliver hauling autonomy solutions to production
  • Manage program scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Work with stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
  • Identify, evaluate, and select vehicle level autonomy solutions
  • Analyze value and risk of proposed changes and evaluate design tradeoffs
  • Strong familiarity with robotics and autonomy fundamentals
  • Experience with software and electronic hardware development processes
  • Effective collaboration across teams with diverse skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Experience executing engineering design process on autonomy or robotics projects
  • Requirements decomposition and solution creation
