Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Description:Serves as the technical bridge between engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement (suppliers) and operational teams. Their primary responsibility is to ensure the successful transition of products from design to production while optimizing quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturability. This role is also responsible for providing timely engineering dispositions for non-conforming products, resolving production issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering, quality, and regulatory requirements.Also works in projects with Engineering teams to implement mistake-proofing implementations and refining the handover process for new product introductions (NPI) to ensure production line readiness.Responsibilities:Technical SupportReview and resolve production, assembly, -related engineering issuesSolid Interpretation on engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Reviewing component tolerances to ensure parts fit together smoothly without forcing or filing on the line.Evaluate technical deviations and determine acceptable dispositions with Engineering teams.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, quality and operational teams.Managing urgent production issues to minimize downtime and delivery impactsCross-Functional CoordinationAct as the primary technical interface between Design Engineering and Manufacturing (Liaison).Coordinate Collaboration meetings between design engineering, pcc, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain (CPPD).Collaborate with Design, PCC, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Operations teams to resolve technical issues.Participating in cross-functional problem-solving meetings.Support on implementation of engineering changes and process improvements.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure compliance with company procedures, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, reports, and technical records.Support internal or external audits, certifications and customer reviews as required.Maintain complete traceability of engineering decisions and approvals.Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.Advanced English level is requiredExpert in manufacturing processes.Skills:Decision Making and Critical Thinking:Proficiency in Design for manufacturing with the Engineering teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility of the products and parts.Review and support on disposition of non-conforming products, components, and assemblies.Coordinate, analyze and resolve engineering issues affecting manufacturing, assembly, or operations with Design EngineeringEvaluate proactively design engineering changes and their impact on production or service operations.Investigating nonconformance products or deviations.Continuous Improvement:Support root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.Contribute to process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions.Identify engineering opportunities to improve safety, quality, manufacturability and implement permanent solutions.Work on projects to eliminate non-value added to Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives when applicableInfluencing:Crafts persuasive arguments.Engages in organizational dialogue.Listening actively for opportunities.Presents ideas convincingly.Other Skills:Strong engineering fundamentals (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering).LeadershipIntermediate skills in Creo softwareProblem Solving and Critical ThinkingExcellent verbal and written communicationInfluencing and NegotiationEmotional IntelligenceTime Management and PrioritizationConflict ResolutionStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and product developmentGD&T knowledge (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Engineering problem-solving and root cause analysis.Knowledge of manufacturing processes.Ability to read technical drawings, CAD models and Engineering StandardsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements.Top Candidates also have:Expert using TeamcenterSolid knowledge on welding, assembly processesPower Bi skillsPMP CertificationBlack Belt CertificationMaster’s degree related to engineering or manufacturingAdditional Information This position is to work in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.
