Job Summary:The Shipping Clerk verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment. Additional Information:Relocation assistance is not available for this positionSponsorship is not available for this positionSchedule: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMCompensation: Pay starts at $19.85 /hour with a Shift Premium for 2nd ShiftWhat you will do:Order filling, processing, storing/picking of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies for both domestic and international ordersOperating automated packaging equipment, paint line operation, shipping and receivingMultiple systems interactionValidate accuracy of receipts to supplier packing listsIdentify expedited partsPrioritize receipts based on receiving schedulesResolve grief by working with accounts payable and material coordinators in supply chain on receiving discrepanciesInteract with carriersSchedule outbound loadsCoordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipmentsEnsure accurate counts are recorded prior to any movements into or out of the finished goods inventoryCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers Operates electric hoist, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes to assist in loading or moving materials and products Develops a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace Develops a culture that works to achieve and maintain ongoing housekeeping excellence What you will have:Previous distribution center, warehouse and/or order filling experienceKnowledge of parts systems, procedures, and operationAbility to work with minimal supervisorComputer literateGood attendance recordAbility to maintain complete and accurate recordsAbility to work overtime when requiredGood mechanical aptitudeGood written and verbal communication skillsHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience.Top candidates will also have:Currently working at the Northlink location - 15300 Northlink DriveFort Worth, TX 76247United States of AmericaPhysical Demands:Occasionally lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 50 pound as team liftOccasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasksConsistent usage of required PPE for task being performedWork in an environment with frequently changing temperaturesStanding and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks Summary Pay Range:$19.85 - $26.55Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
