Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.DMC Benchmarking Analyst will support Chevron’s ENGINE group by compiling, validating, and analyzing benchmarking data across the downstream, midstream, and chemicals businesses, to enable business decisions, including competitive goals setting. This role will focus on collecting financial & operational benchmarking data to support the setting of competitive and realistic targets. The analyst will collaborate closely with business leads, global stakeholders, and subject matter experts to deliver high- quality benchmarking reports and insights.Key Responsibilities:Collect, validate, and normalize competitor realized price data from internal and external sources.Benchmark Chevron's crude, gas, LNG, NGL, and product realizations against peers.Analyze drivers of price premiums and discounts, including quality, geography, contracts, and market exposure.Quantify performance gaps and value opportunities versus top-performing peers.Develop competitive targets and support business performance improvement efforts.Deliver executive-ready insights, reports, and recommendations to stakeholdersAbout youBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field5-10 years of industry experience as a service provider, within a refinery, or through full-service consulting in the downstream, midstream, and/or chemicals sectorProficiency in data analysis, benchmarking, or business performance measurementAdvanced fluency in financial analysis, with experience in product economics and financial modellingExperience working with public company data (e.g., SEC reports) to develop insightsFamiliarity with third-party data sources such as S&P Global, Opis, Solomon, or equivalent providersProven ability to partner with diverse stakeholders to deliver resultsProficiency in data management, quality control, and variance analysisStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insightsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teamsWhat we can offer youEverything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to The Chevron Way.
