Total Number of Openings1Chevron Oronite is accepting online applications for the position of Process Engineer located on Jurong Island, Singapore through 14 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (SGT).All interested applicants, please read the Data Privacy Notice before submitting application.Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:Supports operations in the areas of process troubleshooting and process improvements to improve plant reliability and increase plant capacityCoordinates and participates in HAZOP studies to manage process safety in the plantDevelops process improvement proposals for project implementation and executionPerforms plant trials for process improvements and for raw material qualificationInitiates and manages capital projectsPerforms basic Process Engineering DesignMonitors process trends and product quality to ensure product quality conformanceRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemical EngineeringUp to 10 years of relevant work experience in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industryAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and across functional groupsKnowledge in Process Design and EngineeringFamiliar with ASME & API codes & standardsKnowledge in HAZOP, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and engineering toolsWork LocationSelected candidate will be based in Chevron Oronite plant on Jurong Island, Singapore.Relocation Options:Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.International Considerations:Selected candidate will work in the Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (degree in chemical engineering)
  • Up to 10 years of relevant work experience in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry (experience, 10 years)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and across functional groups (experience)
  • Knowledge in Process Design and Engineering (experience)
  • Familiar with ASME & API codes & standards (experience)
  • Knowledge in HAZOP, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and engineering tools (experience)
