While we might not be the largest company in our industry, we believe we can have the biggest impact because: Together We Have the Power to Win.ROLE SUMMARY:Provides leadership to the plant production, quality and maintenance to assure a high quality, low cost finished product.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the safety, health, and well-being of employees.Responsible for daily operations; providing leadership, focus and direction to the operations team.Responsible for creation, successful launches and sustained implementation of new programsLead daily production meetings.Maximize efficiency through the design and implementation of improved manufacturing strategies and allocation of assets and resources to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, volume and production goals.Develop and maintain department budgets.Help lead the implementation of Lean problem-solving methodologies, Training Within Industry (TWI) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).Utilizes forecasts to develop, benchmark and implement an operation plan to ensure production requirements are met.Provides focus to business-critical issues that will have the biggest impact on plant performance.Allocate limited resources and place emphasis on the effective use of resources throughout the operation.Assures long term development and training of the line technicians and support team.Create a flexible organization that can respond quickly to changes in product demand.
