Our nimble, decentralized culture can provide you with a wealth of opportunities to learn about our business and quickly gain experience to accelerate your career.SUMMARYThe Commercial Mortgage Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial condition of existing commercial mortgage loans, both at the property level and at the guarantor level, to determine compliance with reporting requirements and reporting on the performance of the property and/or guarantor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the preparation and execution of new loan production with senior team membersDevelop and produce a periodic (monthly, quarterly, annually, as appropriate) performance and compliance reporting package for existing loansAnalyze financial information including operating statements, rent rolls, personal financial statements, and/or corporate financial statements to determine performance and compliance with reporting requirements and covenants (if any)For income-producing properties, prepare tracking by reporting period of occupancy and average revenue by unit (using whatever reporting metric is appropriate to the specific property type), and comparing that to the Borrower’s and/or Appraiser’s pro formas which were used in the Loan marketing packageReview various reports including appraisals, environmental documentation, and engineering reports to determine compliance with loan requirementsSupport efforts by Producers in client engagement and developmentSubmit regular monitoring reports to bankers and loan servicingConduct site visits and perform property inspections as neededParticipate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures related to program revisions and guideline changesRegular and reliable attendance requiredOther duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree requiredMinimum of two years of relevant experience in Commercial Real Estate, commercial mortgage lending, or a related field requiredExperience supporting the closing of new business transactions preferredFoundational understanding of the Commercial Real Estate industry gained through successful completion of Real Estate focused coursework, internships, or professional experience preferredFamiliarity with the primary commercial property types including multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and hospitalityExceptional written and verbal communication skills requiredIntermediate Microsoft Office skills required, advanced financial and data manipulation. functions in Microsoft Excel as well as experience with AI efficiency tools preferredAbility to review and analyze complex financial and commercial loan documentsBroad intellectual curiosity including the ability and desire to grow professionallyJOB EXPECTATIONSThis is a full-time position in office three days a week. Days of work are Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (degree)
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in Commercial Real Estate, commercial mortgage lending, or a related field required (experience)
