This position also plays an important role to ensure revenues and commissions reported are following US GAAP and Internal Controls. In this role, you will:You will be successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately.Record transactions to report revenue and commission expensesPrepare, review and analyze broker transactions for payments, as well as handle management of broker account rechargeProvide support to the branch offices on the use various Deal Tracking System and assist with day-to-day operational related inquiries.Perform revenue testing on deal transactionsReview and reconcile accounts related to Revenue and commissionsYour role will involve aiding in the preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various business units. What you bring:2+ year of experience in an accounting position is preferred.Degree in Accounting.A self-motivated individual with customer service orientation and ‘can do’ attitude.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Advanced skills and experience in MS Office (Excel) MicrosoftMicrosoft Dynamics AX knowledge would be considered an asset Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information:Area/Location Specific: Vancouver, BCApproximate Salary Range for Role: $57,000 to $65,000 CAD Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
