Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead automation and electrical projects that support safe, efficient plant operations. You will provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system alignment with company standards while supporting continuous improvement across the site.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesProvide daily automation support to operations and facilities teamsExecute automation and electrical projects to improve equipment reliability and performanceDevelop and deliver training to strengthen automation, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge across the siteAlign information technology and operational technology infrastructure, programming, and equipment with company standardsParticipate in daily production meetings and support Early Management and Preventive Maintenance initiativesPartner on equipment obsolescence planning and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and good manufacturing practices requirementsEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standardsCommunicate effectively and collaborate across teams, including providing off-hours support as neededIngredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, information technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experienceAt least 1 year of programmable logic controller programming experienceKnowledge of electrical principles and components such as human machine interfaces, servo controllers, variable frequency drives, sensors, and process instrumentationStrong problem-solving skills with the capability to apply engineering principles in complex situationsExperience in regulated manufacturing environments such as Food and Drug Administration, United States Department of Agriculture, or Process Safety Management is a plusProficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints, electrical schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagramsProficiency with standard computer programs, including email and Microsoft OfficePhysical RequirementsMore information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply:You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, information technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience (experience)
